What changes for your team?
Your team is unique, so your training should be too. Get to your desired results faster by speeding up the rate of implementation.
- Improved communication skills
- Better decision making
- More independence
- Increased discipline and accountability
- Faster implementation of your plans
Your team can be your greatest strength
You have been in business a few years and you have a team of 5 or more. The downside is that you may be making less profit than you did on your own, with twice as many headaches: you never know who will show up on time, or which mistake will cost you in lost time, parts and rework.
It does not have to be that way. We specialize in re-establishing culture and discipline and in working with teams to make them reliable. We help you find, recruit and train great team members, then develop them into pacesetters. Our most successful clients have employees who care as much about the business as the owner does.

Questions about team training
How long are the team training modules?
Each module is a facilitator-led classroom program of 2 to 15 instructional hours, priced per person. Short modules introduce a topic, such as behavioural styles or the 6 levels of customer service, and longer ones take your team from awareness to implementation, with workflows, job descriptions and benchmarks adjusted by your own employees.
Does the government help pay for team training?
Often, yes. The Canada-Alberta Job Grant is an employer-driven program that helps employers invest in training for current and future employees. Each employee can receive up to $10,000 a year in third-party training. Our team has helped hundreds of employees apply for and receive over $500,000 in grants and funding. Contact us to see if your organization qualifies.
Should I include my business partner, directors or key employees?
We highly recommend it. Anyone who plays a role in key decisions can be involved; how much is up to you and your coach. In some cases key people have their own coaching engagement, and in others they are involved only through communication with the entrepreneur leading the charge.
What is the difference between a consultant and a business coach?
Simply put, consultants do the work for you, and a coach teaches you. If you want to learn to fish for yourself, hire a coach. If you want to hire someone to fish for you, hire a consultant. With a coach, the knowledge stays with you and your team, so you keep using it long after a strategy is in place.
