1:1 business coaching is a personalized process that helps entrepreneurs and leaders grow their business through four principles: education, inspiration, accountability and application. Your coach builds a tailored plan around your business needs, wants and goals, then works with you in weekly coaching sessions. Engagements run from 6 months to 5 years or more.
It is designed for business owners who want to move fast and achieve significant growth, with coaching tailored to their unique goals, skills and business needs.
Do you want to scale fast, or maybe even franchise your business?
Are you looking to make more and work less?
Do you want to improve your sales while reducing your workload?
Are you ready to implement systems and processes that make your team more efficient and profitable?
Do you want to outpace the competition and achieve rapid growth?
What do we coach owners through?
The situations Kent sees most often, and what coaching changes.
Self-employed
You work 60+ hours a week and nobody taught you “the business stuff”. We build your marketing plan, staffing plan and systems so you own a business, not a job.
Starting something new
You have a track record and a new product or idea. We detail your business plan and perfect the marketing plan to get your first 100 customers.
A team of 5 or more
More people, less profit, twice the headaches. We re-establish culture and discipline and help you find, recruit and train great team members.
Profit and cash flow cycles
Some months are profitable and others are not. We work towards 12 straight months of profit and predicting your profit 30 to 60 days in advance.
Feast and famine revenue
Cyclical revenue can be fixed with a mix of marketing and time organization. Learn how to double your revenue in 24 months or less.
Time away from the business
As your business matures, your time away should grow, to the point where you can spend a month away per year. Start with a two-week worry-free vacation.

Questions about 1:1 coaching
What is one-on-one coaching?
1:1 business coaching is a personalized process that empowers entrepreneurs and leaders to elevate their businesses through four key principles: education, inspiration, accountability and application. Unlike broad seminars or one-size-fits-all advice, it delivers tailored support and a proven process that fits your unique goals, challenges and potential.
How long do coaching programs last?
It depends on you and the size of your goals. If your goal is to be comfortably self-employed, your engagement may only take 6 or 12 months. If your goal is to sell your business for maximum value, or for your business to run without you, the engagement may last 5 years or more.
How much time or work will I have to put in?
That depends on how fast you want to grow: the faster you want to grow, the more hours you can put in. In general we have found that 4 to 5 hours per week of actually doing the work, plus another 1 to 2 hours of learning, is enough to help you achieve even the largest of goals.
Are there extra charges to implement the strategies?
Paid directly to the coach or their team, generally no. There is a cost to every implementation, though: sometimes it is time, and sometimes you need to hire an expert, for example an SEO specialist. We teach you what we can, but sometimes it simply makes more sense to hire an expert to implement.
Should I include my business partner, directors or key employees?
We highly recommend it. Anyone who plays a role in key decisions can be involved; how much is up to you and your coach. In some cases key people have their own coaching engagement, and in others they are involved only through communication with the entrepreneur leading the charge.
